I am trying to find where a sister of my father is buried. It might be St. Joseph/Holy Cross. The family is buried at Calvary. Her name is Helen Rose Casserly. She died as a child of about 2years old some time around 1925. If you cannot help me can you please direct me to someone who can? Thank you. Pam Casserly

As recently as twenty years ago we were designing "mortuaries" with an interior network of hallways to transport the casket without it being seen. Today, we plan flexible event spaces without a lot of though given to hiding the casket. In some cases there is no casket and we also want to use our facilities for the full range of events, not just memorial events.

How reflective are these changes of larger changes in the way the funeral service business operates? Put another way, what are the major changes we would see if we were to look at the floor plan of a new mortuary you were building today and compare them to the plans for one you were constructing 40 or 50 years ago?

What a wonderful story! I know Carson, but never met his brother. Now, I feel that I have, in a way. Thanks to Flanner & Buchanan for going the extra mile for Carson and his family!
